About the Transboundary Fashion Research Project
越境する現代日本ファッションに関する基盤研究 研究代表者：高木陽子（文化学園大学）・科学研究費補助金 基盤研究C （English translation below） コンセプト ファッションは、芸術と産業と生活に関わる領域です。 1980年 代より、ファッションは、個性を表現するメディアとなり、衣服デザインの域を超え、写真、グラフィック、音楽、映画、演劇、ダンスなどのさまざまな芸術と 相互依存しながら展開してきました。また、生産から消費までの過程をみれば、国や地域の境を越える時に、新たな文化的表現が生まれています。 「越境」という概念は、現代日本ファッション研究の多様な問題をひきだしてくれます。 越境するファッションセミナーでは、日本学術振興会から科学研究費補助金（基盤研究C）,（平成26-28年 度）の支援を受け、ファッションの「越境」的なさまざまな問題を設定し、国内外から、研究者、デザイナー、学芸員、ジャーナリスト、産業人、大学院生を招 き、研究発表と議論を展開して、ケーススタディーを蓄積し、グローバルな研究交流を行います。使用言語には、できるかぎり国際語としての英語を使います。 — Scientific Research on Transboundary Contemporary Japanese Fashion This research project and series of seminars has been made possible by the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Japan
